From [**Research & Degrowth**](https://degrowth.org/) and [**Fundació Emprius**](https://emprius.cat/en/) –with the collaboration of [Ecologistas en Acción](https://www.ecologistasenaccion.org/federaciones/catalunya/), [THECO](https://www.uc3m.es/grupos-investigacion/theco) and [Rebelión Científica](https://www.rebelioncientifica.es/)–, we are organising the congress **“Sentit comunal. Communalisms and degrowths”**. It will take place on Saturday **25 January** 2025 in **Vic**, at the [**Biblioteca Pilarín Bayés**](https://www.bibliotecapilarinbayes.cat/) (it was due to be held at La Reciclària, but the venue changed to allow for more capacity).

It will be a **space for meeting, exchange and reflection** among people from across the Spanish state who defend communalism and degrowth as desirable and necessary paths of social transformation — paths that can point towards solving many of the serious problems and ills we suffer and face.

The **congress dossier**, with the full programme, is now public, and the **registration form** is open for anyone who wants to take part.
