Title: **Fem cumó, un altre camí**

Synopsis:

In a corner of the **Pre-Pyrenees**, the village of **Sapeira** and the **Terreta valley** hold the traces of a deeply valuable **communal past**. *“Fem cumó, un altre camí”* (“Doing cumó: another way”) follows the **participatory process** led by the [Usnea RP](https://www.instagram.com/usnea_rp/) collective, together with the **people of the village**, to recover this **living memory**: interviews, cumós — days of **communal work** — and workshops become spaces for dialogue where **grandparents’ stories** meet **new collective imaginaries**. Another path also means another turn: walking together again, doing cumó as before but with fresh eyes. The film draws us into the **beauty** and **fragility** of a **rural world** that was **socially and culturally dismantled** years ago, while opening **questions** about the **future** of the **commons** and the potential of **grassroots structures** as an act of justice and social transformation.

The commons have been a foundation of collective life for more than a millennium. Today we live in an unusual time, when this way of being in the world has been sidelined; perhaps it is a symptom of crisis, but also the starting point of a new beginning.
