# Aims and lines of action

## Aims and lines of action

A) Foster and spread communalist culture.
B) Acquire assets and land for communal management.
C) Become a meeting space to generate networks and synergies around communal lands.

**Short- and medium-term aims (2022–2023)**

2022 will be the Foundation’s launch year and we have planned a series of working lines:

- Develop and implement a plan for promoting and communicating the Foundation and its mission and values
- Define and systematise the internal organisation, with the development of protocols, mechanisms for internal functioning and asset management
- Launch the first strategic public actions
- Develop a diagnosis of the current state of communal lands in Catalonia, to help develop an action plan for the Foundation
- Holding a congress on commons in Catalonia. If donation campaigns are successful and we have economic resources to acquire land, having completed a diagnosis and established a strategy, during 2023 we could make the first land and/or infrastructure purchase and subsequent transfer of this to collectives that work in line with the foundation’s values. In any case, the foundation will continue its task of promoting and raising awareness about commons in Catalonia.
