We’re supporting the Turrós flour mill: will you join in?

Are you committed to food sovereignty, the common good and the land? Living in or near the Garrotxa and looking for a production space for your project? If so, you should hear about this! The Eines Comunes co-operative is creating a mill, bakery and food production workshop for collective ownership and use — a way to change the production model through local and community action.
The Turrós mill, bakery and food workshop is a project to build and practise an economy based on the common good — local, transformative, co-operative and circular — and to create a shared, open space to develop agrifood and craft activities, recovering the farming and community economy. Specifically, it’s a multi-purpose production workshop with collective ownership, management and use: a grain mill, wood-fired oven and food production space for processing cereals, vegetables and fruit into finished goods.
We’re excited about this project and we’ve already been helping with the mill purchase for months — it really is our dream too. So we’re inviting you to back it via Goteo’s crowdfunding campaign and help keep building these collective infrastructures, fully aligned with our values and lines of action!
