Some events this autumn:

There are screenings of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” (“Doing cumó: another way”) planned in Santa Margarida de Montbui (l’Anoia), Cànoves i Samalús (Vallès Oriental), Poble Nou del Delta (Montsià), Guinardó (Barcelona), Vall de Cardós (Pallars Sobirà), La Cellera de Ter (la Selva), Tortellà (Alta Garrotxa) and Ulldecona (País Valencià). The documentary has been selected for the Cardós Film Festival and the 16th Ethnographic Film Festival of Catalonia. Full information here.

On Tuesday 15 September, Emprius takes part in the course “Community economies and local development for transition”, organised by the Escola de Transicions. We’re involved in the practical cases section of the session “Communalisms and ecosocial transition”. Full information here.

On Saturday 26 September there’s an autumn equinox celebration at the Ateneu Rural Cal Cisteller, with grape-must tasting and a community supper, in Font-Rubí (Alt Penedès). Full information here.

Also on Saturday 26 September, there’s the day-long event “Land in common: Models of communal assets and collective management” in Poble Nou del Delta (Montsià), which will include a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí”. Full information here.

On Sunday 15 November there’s a major protest in defence of rural life in Móra d’Ebre (Ribera d’Ebre). Full information here.
