The “Let’s collectivise Cal Cisteller!” campaign has raised over €31,000.
If you want to make further financial contributions towards the project, you still can (see the form below). We’ll be paying back loans from the purchase financing, so all contributions help. Remember you can claim tax relief on up to 80% of donations.
Fundació Emprius has bought Cal Cisteller and will soon sign a lifelong right-of-use agreement (cessió d’ús) with the rural networking co-operative El Cistell. The agreement will keep the space functioning as an Ateneu Rural (rural community centre) open to strengthening the social fabric of Font-rubí and the Penedès. The project aims to build rural roots and develop shared work in solidarity economy, agroecology, health and pooling resources and care.
Coop57, a co-operative for ethical and solidarity services with which we have signed a collaboration agreement, is one of the main sources of funding for the collective purchase.
