We sign a collaboration agreement with Coop57 and Fundació Coop57

Fundació Emprius has signed a three-way collaboration agreement with Coop57, a co-operative for ethical and solidarity finance, and Fundació Coop57. Both are key organisations in the social and solidarity economy, and we share a vision of social transformation with them.

This involves strengthening our approach to funding community and transformative projects in rural areas as a strategic priority, and positioning Fundació Emprius as a tool at the service of these projects.

The agreement also establishes that, should Fundació Emprius ever dissolve or close, its capital and assets would be transferred to Fundació Coop57, to ensure the protection and continuity of the projects. This security measure is standard practice for all foundations — they choose which organisation would receive their assets in that unlikely event.

Fundació Emprius values this agreement with Coop57 very highly, given their long track record and strong base of support.

This agreement shows our commitment to the social and solidarity economy and to the present and future of community-rooted projects. It strengthens Fundació Emprius as a tool for movements seeking social change.
