Winter events

This winter, Fundació Emprius is taking part in various events:

On Saturday 25 January we’ll be at the Sentit Comunal congress, “Communalisms and degrowths”, which we’re organising with other organisations in Vic.

On Sunday 16 February we’re hosting the annual gathering of the Emprius Community and anyone interested at Calafou, Vallbona d’Anoia.

On Thursday 20 February we’re taking part in the VII Saved Landscapes – Landscapes to Save Seminar, organised by the Girona Naturalists Association. The event is in Girona, at the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Letters and Tourism (Campus Barri Vell). We’ll give a short talk on “Communalism and land: key to conservation”, in a space where people from Resilience Earth, Pau Costa Foundation, Eixarcolant and the Gallecs agroecology project are also speaking. If you’re coming, please register here.

On Thursday 13 March we’re taking part in the panel and discussion “Women and dissident identities in the solidarity economy: examples, possibilities and challenges” at the Ateneu Popular La Malgirbada (a community social and cultural centre) in Granollers. The event starts at 6pm.

On Thursday 13 March we’re also holding an online launch of the “Guide to co-operative housing in rural areas” that we’ve published. Two of the guide’s authors will be taking part.
