Events this spring

Some events this spring:

On Thursday 2 April there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” (“Doing cumó: another way”) in Sorribes de la Vansa (Alt Urgell), at 6.30pm at the Espai la Vansa. Full information here.

On 2, 3, 4 and 5 April the “Hack the Earth” gathering takes place at Calafou (Anoia). Full information here.

On Sunday 5 April there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Estopanyà (Huesca, Aragon), at 6pm at the La Rurala inn. Full information here.

On Friday 10 April there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Pollença (Mallorca), at 7pm at the Can Bum social space. Afterwards we’ll play “Commonspoly”. Full information here.

On 17, 18 and 19 April there’s a second call for Revoltes de la Terra, this time in the Bages region. Full information here. Related to this call, the documentary “Sal a la ferida. Israel Chemicals Limited (ICL) i la guerra per l’aigua a Catalunya” (“Salt in the wound: ICL and the war over water in Catalonia”) was recently released.

On Wednesday 22 April there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, at 7pm in the municipal space La Sala, as part of the town’s Cultural Week. Full information here.

On Friday 24 April there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Ripoll, at 6.30pm at the Casal Cívic i Comunitari La Devesa del Pla. Singulars will also be presented — a project that wants to bring together the agrifood sector and local shops. Full information here.

On Sunday 26 April we’re taking part in a “Gathering on urban planning, housing and rural areas” to be held in Les Llosses (Ripollès), at 11am. We’ll present the “Guide to co-operative housing in rural areas” that we published last year. The gathering is organised by XES Ripollès and the Ateneu Cooperatiu Terres Gironines. On Thursday 14 May there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Barcelona, at 7.30pm at La Lleialtat Santsenca (Sants). Full information here.

On Saturday 23 May we’ll be at a concert by Valencian music group La Gossa Sorda in Cunit (Baix Penedès). The band has offered us a space for a stage announcement to explain what we do at Emprius, and a space to set up an information stand. They’re on tour and just released a new song: “A TORNALLOM”.

On Sunday 24 May there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Arrós de Cardós (Pallars Jussà), at 11am, as part of the 13th fair of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Aranese sheep. Full information here.

On Friday 29 May there’s a screening of the documentary “Fem cumó, un altre camí” in Madrid, at 7pm at the Ateneo La Maliciosa (Arganzuela). What we do at Emprius will also be presented. Full information here.

On Monday 15 June there’s a gathering on “Communal assets today”, to be held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona, in the Saló de Graus. Emprius is collaborating. The gathering is coordinated by Vicenç Aguado i Cudolà and Àlex Peñalver i Cabré (opens in a new tab). It starts at 9.15am and lasts all day. There will be four sessions with talks and a final debate, with people from academic and especially legal backgrounds.
