What Montseny do we want?

Next Saturday 3 June at 12 noon in the Sala Bernat Martorell (Can Ramis) on the plaça de la Vila de Sant Celoni, we take part in a joint event organised with the Coordinadora per a la Salvaguarda del Montseny (CSM). The session aims to start a public debate about the real difficulty of accessing land, both in the Montseny and its surrounding areas, aware of the complex problems that arise when deciding to establish new farming activities for all people without land ownership in the region.

The event aims to put forward action proposals, including the creation of Emprius, which seeks to drive communal culture and acquire land and housing for communal, agroecological use. All this, without forgetting our commitment to protecting the environmental values that this mountain holds and which have made it a Biosphere Reserve.

There will be a discussion animated by the “front row”, made up of stakeholders with ties to the region. We want to create a space to share experiences and ideas, and unleash creativity to recover a territorial model that could inspire new generations interested in revitalising the primary sector in the Montseny massif.
