4 May: Gathering of the Emprius community and interested people

Next Saturday 4 May the second Emprius Community Gathering will take place, and we are also inviting everyone interested in the project to attend. The purpose of this gathering is for the people who make Emprius possible – members, advisory council, ambassadors… – to meet each other, get to know some of the spaces connected to the foundation, and share Emprius’s strategy for the coming year.
This time we will be meeting at Can Tonal in Vallbona, one of the communities behind Emprius. In the morning we will take part in the collective work day they have organised. We will have a communal meal and then a tour of the space, where they will explain all the projects being carried out. The project is on the outskirts of Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, in the Vallès Oriental.
In the afternoon there will be the strategic assembly, where we will share last year’s activity report and the proposed work plan for 2024. It will also be a space to put forward proposals, and we will share some of the challenges we are facing.
Finally, there will be a space for debate and collective reflection on the relationship with private property, where we want to address the fears, reluctance and ties we weave with private property to sketch out scenarios for a communal handover.
[ [ WE HAVE NOW CLOSED REGISTRATION FOR THE DAY ] ]
All people who register will be sent the agenda and other documents two weeks before the Gathering.
There will be a children’s space so that everyone who wants to come can make it. Dogs are not allowed.
